Product Strategy & Development Lifecycle at Meniga

2. mars í Dokkunni

Meniga is an Icelandic start-up that in just two years has become the worlds leading player in personal finance management (PFM) software for online banks. With a small yet powerful team of developers Meniga runs a tight schedule where they need to balance creating new features, enhancing current ones while integrating their software to online banks.

In this talk Einar will tell us about Meniga's product strategy and how they go about continually enhancing their product. He will also tell us about their development life cycle and their unique approach to testing their software across multiple browsers with limited QA resources.

About Einar Þór Gústafsson

An interaction and information designer with a special focus on financial data and online banking. In 2010 Einar joined the personal finance management start-up Meniga as VP of Product Management.
Prior to joining Meniga Einar spent seven years working for Íslandsbanki as Executive Director of Global Internet Strategy and Development Manager for Internet banking & Web Applications.
Einar co-founded and is the current chairman of SVEF, the Icelandic Web Industry Association, who host the Icelandic Web Awards and the bi-annual Iceweb Conference.
He spends most of his spare time as a home barista in pursuit of the godshot using his Quickmill Vetrano and Mazzer Super Jolly.Product Strategy & Development Lifecycle at Meniga
